Shreveport-Bossier Summer Spectacular Fine Arts Camp Inc. ("SSSFAC") is a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization with a Federal Tax ID#: 5820194195.
This organization was founded by Billie Leach and Laura Caperton in 1990.
The mission of the organization is to provide Shreveport-Bossier communities' children and adults with the opportunities to explore and learn various forms of fine arts with the best and brightest, highly qualified and trained professional artists from around the United States during one week in the summer. There is a fee to cover the costs and expenses associated with running such a program.
In its twenty (20) years' existence, it has introduced many children to fine arts. It has influenced many children in the Shreveport-Bossier community to further study one form or another form of fine arts. Many have gone on to become professional artists themselves. Many have become teachers of fine arts also and have returned to this community to continue to teach and provide fine arts opportunities to new generations of children in this community. |
